There’s a simple rule we’ve followed at Perth Stripes and Signs for more than 30 years:
If we’re not happy with how your graphics have turned out, we don’t expect you to be happy with them either.
So, if something isn’t up to our standard, we rip it off and redo the work at no extra cost to you.
That isn’t a one-off offer, a limited-time promotion or something we say only when the job is going perfectly. It’s a standing promise. We’ve acted on it in the past, and we’ve acted on it recently too.
Why? Because your signage, graphics and vehicle wraps represent your business, and our work represents us. We’d rather wear the cost of fixing a job than hand over something we’re not proud to see out in the world.
We care about every single job
Quality matters across everything we do, not just signs on buildings or shopfront windows.
We’re known as fleet vehicle specialists, and we take the same care with every client’s vehicle as we do with any other branding job. That means paying attention whether we’re fitting Mustang stripes, laying simple pinstripes or wrapping a vehicle in a full colour change.
Your signage or vehicle graphics may be:
- The first thing a customer sees when they arrive
- The branding people notice as your vehicle travels around Perth
- The graphics that help customers find the right door, counter or department
- The visual identity your team sees every day
- The professional finish that tells people, “We take our work seriously”
That’s a lot of responsibility for a piece of vinyl, aluminium, acrylic or printed material.
We don’t take it lightly.
A crooked edge, a colour that isn’t right, a graphic that hasn’t landed as intended or a finish that simply doesn’t look the part can affect the entire impression of a business or vehicle. It might be technically “finished”, but that doesn’t mean it’s finished to the standard we expect.
And “close enough” has never been our style.
Our promise is simple: if it’s not right, we make it right
We’re proud of the work we produce, but we’re also realistic. Signage involves design, printing, fabrication, materials, surfaces, weather, installation conditions and plenty of careful measuring. Sometimes, despite everyone’s best efforts, something doesn’t turn out the way it should.
When that happens, we don’t point fingers. We don’t ask the client to settle. We don’t quietly hope nobody notices.
We look at the work and ask ourselves one question:
Would we be happy putting our name on this?
If the answer is no, we fix it.
That may mean removing graphics, reprinting panels, remanufacturing elements or returning to site to complete the job properly. Recently, that meant removing a wrapped bumper we weren’t happy with and fitting it again properly. Whatever is required, our promise is that the client won’t pay extra because we weren’t satisfied with the result.
It can sting us in the short term. Materials cost money. Time costs money. Installation costs money. But passing work we’re not proud of would cost us something more valuable: trust.
And trust is much harder to replace than a sheet of vinyl.
Quality starts long before installation day
A quality result isn’t created by simply sticking a graphic onto a wall or vehicle. It starts well before the installation team arrives.
Our end-to-end approach allows us to pay attention to the details at every stage, including:
Understanding what you need
A sign needs to do more than look attractive. It needs to work for your location, your audience and your day-to-day business.
We consider where the sign will be viewed from, how quickly people need to read it, how the light changes throughout the day and how the design fits with your broader brand.
Getting the design right
Good signage is clear, memorable and easy to understand at a glance. It should stand out without becoming cluttered, and it should look like your business : not somebody else’s.
We work with you to create a design that suits your goals, whether you need building signage and branding, vehicle graphics, window branding or custom signs.
Choosing suitable materials
Different jobs need different materials. A temporary promotion may call for one solution, while a long-term outdoor sign, commercial fleet or high-traffic window may need something more durable.
We select materials with the application in mind, considering factors such as exposure, surface type, expected lifespan, finish and maintenance.
Preparing properly
Surface preparation is one of those behind-the-scenes details that makes a major difference. A clean, suitable surface helps graphics adhere properly and contributes to a smoother, sharper finish.
For vehicle work, this is particularly important. As fleet vehicle specialists, we know there’s no room for sloppy prep or rushed fitting. Our vehicle wrapping services include careful preparation and professional application because the final result needs to look good from every angle : whether the vehicle is parked outside your premises or travelling down the freeway.
Checking the finished work
We don’t consider a job done simply because the graphic is installed. We look at alignment, edges, joins, colour, readability, finish and the overall visual effect.
Sometimes it’s the small things that make the biggest difference. A few millimetres in the wrong place can change the balance of a design. A tiny crease can catch the light. A slightly dull colour can make a brand look less vibrant than intended.
Details matter. We check them.
A sign is part of your reputation
Your customers may never know which signage company produced your graphics. They won’t see the planning, production or installation work behind the finished result.
They’ll simply see your business.
That’s why professional signage matters. Clean, durable and well-installed graphics can make a business feel established, organised and trustworthy. Poorly finished signage can create the opposite impression, even when the business itself is excellent.
The same applies to vehicle graphics. A branded vehicle can act as a mobile billboard all over Perth, but only if the finish reflects the quality of the business behind it. Smooth application, crisp graphics, accurate colours and strong alignment all help your brand make the right impression.

Window graphics deserve the same attention
Windows are often overlooked, but they’re one of the most visible branding opportunities available to a business.
Window graphics can welcome customers, promote services, provide privacy, display opening hours or transform a plain storefront into something eye-catching. They need to be crisp, readable and professionally applied.
We offer window graphic solutions including static cling vinyl for removable or reusable applications, as well as polymeric vinyl for longer-lasting graphics. You can see more about our printed graphics and window graphics services.
The principle remains the same: if the result doesn’t look right, we’re not happy handing it over.

Three decades of experience : and still no shortcuts
More than 30 years in the signage industry has taught us plenty.
We’ve worked on small signs and large-scale branding projects. We’ve produced graphics for local businesses, commercial fleets, government departments, schools, councils, hospitality venues and more. We’ve handled different surfaces, different materials, different deadlines and different ideas.
That experience helps us spot potential problems early and make practical recommendations. It also reinforces something we’ve always known:
Experience is only valuable when it shows in the finished work.
We don’t want to be known simply as the company that has been around for a long time. We want to be known as the company that still cares about the result on every job : no matter how big, small, straightforward or unusual it may be.

We would rather absorb the cost than lower the standard
There are easier ways to run a signage business.
You can rush jobs. You can overlook small faults. You can tell a client that something is “good enough”. You can focus only on whether the invoice has been paid.
That isn’t how we want to work.
We’re a local, family-owned business, and our reputation has been built one job at a time. We work with customers from across Perth, and we understand that much of our business comes from repeat work, referrals and relationships that last.
That no-nonsense approach applies right across the workshop floor, especially with vehicle work. Whether it’s a set of stripes on a Mustang, neat pinstripes or a full colour change wrap, we treat every vehicle with care and every finish like it matters : because it does.
When we redo work at no extra cost because we’re not happy with it, we’re making a practical decision based on the long term. We’re saying that your confidence in us matters more than the short-term cost of correcting a mistake or disappointing result.
That’s the Perth Stripes and Signs promise.
